Optimist International Childhood Cancer

Support the Optimist Childhood Cancer Research Campaign
Finding a cure for childhood cancer could become a reality with the support of Optimists everywhere. The Optimist organization has pledged more than $900,000 to fund a research fellowship at Johns Hopkins University in the name of Optimist International. This research will concentrate on finding a vaccine that may someday prevent childhood cancers.

Your help is still needed if Optimists are going to find a cure for childhood cancer. More information about the Childhood Cancer Campaign is available on this website, by calling the International Office at (800) 500-8130, ext. 261, or by e-mail at ccc@optimist.org .

McAlester Optimists as well as Optimist International are remembering both New Orleans and Mississippi in their prayers. Please pray and listen for how you can help these people. This is the largest and most severe tragedy in U.S. History. We must pull together and support those who have survived.
